ALM-ACMAT » TF / TPK VLRA
Since 1965 the production of the main conventional series was continued under the name ALM-ACMAT. The first time in production was the TF model with a Ford engine and the TPK model with a Perkins engine. The range included many different models with 4x4 and 6x6 axle configurations and GVW from 6.5 to 12 tonnes. Since 1979, all vehicles are made only with the Perkins engine with an output of 138-210 hp. The new transportation and auxiliary vehicles of the second echelon the VLA were added to the VLRA range. Technically all trucks are identical and differ only in parameters, view of the body or arms. They used mechanical synchronized gearbox with a 4-6 speeds and 2-speed transfer gearbox, mechanical lock of all differentials, uncut drive axles with hub reductions, suspension on semi-elliptic leaf springs and steering with a hydraulic booster. The company produces by themselves only a chassis and frame elements. The light-duty model range (4x4) includes many variants from the TPK4.15 to TPK4.36 with a payload of 1,5-3,6 tonnes and the four types of wheelbase (from 3300 to 4300 mm). The heavy-duty three-axle (6x6) range includes several models from TPK6.35 to TPK6.50 with a load capacity of 3,5-5,0 tonnes and wheelbase from 3850 to 4800 mm. Both series are used Perkins 6.354 (5,8 l, 138-145 hp) diesel engines, and 4-, 5- or 6-speed gearbox. Machine-guns and cannon weapons, various types of missiles, multiple rocket launchers, air defense systems, a special army gear, and flatbed, tipper, sanitary and passenger bodies, tanks, tankers and evacuation valves are installed on these chassis. All vehicles have high durability, are adapted to air transportation and parachute airdrop, could climbs 65% hill, and overcome 90 cm ford. The top speed is 90-105 km/h.
