Mack » MH Ultra-Liner
In 1982, Mack showed a successor of the WS Cruise-Liner. It was MH Ultra-Liner model with a fiberglass cab on a reinforced metal frame. The trucks offered with a day cab (BBS=59') and sleeper cab (BBC=90'), 4 different interior trims, as well as round or 4 square headlights to choose from. The truck with such cabin was very light for Class 8. Actually, this model was the last cabover long-haul truck of the company. Totally about 16,190 MH and MHR trucks were made. The most popular model was MH613 with Mack V8 E9-500 engine with an output of 500 hp (10,342 pcs were made). Besides this engine, truck could be equipped with other Mack diesel engines with power from 250 to 440 hp, as wheel as Cummins, Caterpillar and Detroit Diesel engines.
