DongFeng » Special Bottom (专底)

The Dongfeng Special Bottom division (东风专底) produces a range of medium and heavy-duty 2- or 3-axle trucks and dump trucks. They are fitted with standard D913, Jiayun or Qixing cabs (the last uses mainly for heavy 3-axle dump trucks), which are also used on other Dongfeng models. The range includes 4x2 trucks and dump trucks with GVW of 15-18 tonnes, as well as 6x4 dump trucks with a GVW of 25 tonnes.

There is a wide choice of powertrains available for the Special Bottom series of trucks: Dongfeng EQH180 (4.8L, 180 hp), Dongfeng Cummins ISD180 (4.5L, 180 hp), Dongfeng Cummins ISB210 (5.9L, 210 hp), Dongfeng Cummins ISD245 (6.7L, 245 hp), Yuchai YC6A270 (7.5L, 270 hp) and Yuchai YC6MK400 (10.3L, 400 hp). Transmissions are manual 6-, 8-, 9-, 10- and 12-speed.
