Atkinson » Continental
Atkinson tried a German association of a different sort when it bought steel tilt cabs from Krupp, which had discontinued its road haulage range. 26 and 38 tonne models were offered from 1969 with Rolls-Royce Eagle 220 and 260 diesels, ZF 6-speed gearboxes, Kirkstall axles and ZF power-assisted steering. They were also equipped with Cary Laminaire rear suspension and an exhaust brake.
