CNHTC » Howo T5G
At a conference in Jinan CNHTC company has showed an interesting vehicle, which is became the most interesting development of Chinese automobile industry on the eve of 2012. I am talking about the mix of Chinese CNHTC Howo chassis with the German MAN cabin! It was named Howo T5G. Look at the pictures, the frame of the cabin was borrowed unchanged from the MAN TGA, but the front end is the copy of Sitrak T7H. As you remember, in 2011 Sinotruk (ie CNHTC) and MAN SE presented the new brand Sitrak, under which the trucks of this joint venture will be sold in Asia. Howo T5G is submitted under the brand CNHTC and may be analogous to Sitrak T7H for the local market. Interestingly, T5G has its own interior, having nothing similar with the German counterpart. Lineup will include trucks with GVW of 12, 16, 18, 20, 25 and 31 tonnes. Engines are also from MAN SE - the MC05, MC07 with working volume of 4.58 and 6.87 L, respectively.
