In 1996, a group of students of the experimental research laboratory LACEBAT with the support from the Roman company, has developed a prototype of a light off-road vehicle DAC 2.65FAEG. Four-wheel drive truck with all-wheel steering was equipped with a gasoline 65 hp engine from Dacia car. It seems to be that several prototypes were built, one of which is rotting in the back yard of the institute.
