At the Auto Shanghai 2011 DongFeng has shown the truck with a refreshed design, which was updated only in details that very unusual for Chinese people. Thus, the grille became bigger and got a trapezoidal shape. The sun visor was optimized to reduce aerodynamic drag. Side skirts of the chassis and front wheel's arches also received some updates. Improvements were also mode to the maintenance bar behind the cab. Inside there is a new steering wheel, refrigerator between the front seats, new air suspension of the driver's seat, and small improvements of the sleeping compartment. The updated trucks received new engine DCI385.40 with an output of 385 hp and torque of 1800 Nm, which meets the ecological standard Euro 4 with the help of AdBlue. It works together with a new automatic 14-speed transmission DF14S.
