Badger » 470TM

In 2012, Badger Equipment introduced a brand-new excavator-planner with a telescopic boom and a high top speed. The new model called Badger 470TM. The excavator can be supplied both in 4x4 and 4x2 wheel configuration. Curb weight is 19 and 16 tonnes, respectively.

A distinctive feature of the Badger 470TM is the ability to control the movement of the truck from the operator's cabin. The swivel platform of the excavator is powered by a Cummins QSB 6.7 diesel rated at 215 hp, which meets the requirements of the ecological standard Tier 3. The 470TM can be fitted with a cleaner and more powerful Cummins QSB 6.7 Tier 4i diesel with a power of 225 hp, as an option. The chassis is equipped with a Cummins ISB 6.7 220 hp diesel.

The excavator has a manual gearbox Eaton Fuller RTO-11908LL (10 speeds forward, 3 backwards). The automatic Allison RDS 3500 is an option. The maximum working radius of digging on the bearing surface is 9.7 m. The bucket has a rotator. An arrow with a bucket can work confidently underwater.
