DongFeng Liuzhou » Chenglong T7

Dongfeng Liuzhou announced the new bonneted tractor Chenglong T7 at the 2016 Beijing Auto Show. The first prototype was firstly appeared the year earlier. 6x4 tractor was developed specially for long distance distributions and is fitted with a comfortable cabins with a sleeping compartment and high roof.

Exterior design is almost an exact copy of the prototype. The only difference is the front mask with chrome trim and 4 horizontal bars. The sloped hood with integrated front wings is made of fiberglass. The front headlights with modern design have LED daylight strips. The cabin is borrowed from a cabover tractor Balong M7. There is a full aerodynamic kit of the chassis. The two-tone interior has leather seats and steering wheel. The dashboard design is similar to European Volvo trucks.

There is a choice of available engines: 13-liters Cummins ISZ with an output of 450-520 hp, 9-liters Cummins ISL with an output of 400 hp or 11.5-12.5 liters Weichai engine with an output of 430 and 480 hp, respectively. All of them are fitted with a FAST AMT. DongFeng Chenglong T7 has two alloy fuel tanks with a capacity of 350 and 450 liter.
