Austin » WF

In mid-1964 the WE cab was revised to become the WF, gaining twin headlamps and a one-piece windscreen, along with the nickname “Woofer”. It also received a new 5.7 litre diesel engine and 5-speed manual gearbox. Remarkably, consistently high customer demand helped to ensure that the WF range remained in production throughout the 1970s and into the 1980s, but under Leyland model name.
