In 1983 Autocar presents a new range of lightweight trucks for the construction and refuse industries - the DS. A shorter BBC of 103" and a variety of weight-reduction features and options allow to spec Autocar DS that can satisfy any gross weight requirements. The DS comes standard with a fiberglass tilt hood with integral fenders for weight-sensitive applications.
